Product description
The devices listed here are part of the 9907-164 mode, 505 and 505E microprocessor-based Governor control units. These control modules are specifically designed to operate steam turbines, as well as turbine generator and turbine expander modules. The 505/505E series was originally developed, produced and manufactured by Woodward, the oldest industrial manufacturer in the United States, founded in 1870 and still one of the leading industrial companies on the market today, these 505 and 505E models are available from us at AX Controls as part of the inventory. The 9907-164 unit is designed to control the steam turbine by operating a single extraction and/or intake turbine. T utilizes the turbine's stage actuators, one or both of which drive the inlet valves for the steam.
Like any of the 505 governor modules, the unit can be configured in the field by a field operator. Menu-driven software is controlled and changed by an operator control panel integrated on the front of the device. The panel displays two lines of text, each of 24 characters.
The 9907-164 is equipped with a range of discrete and analog inputs :16 contact inputs (of which 4 are dedicated and 12 are programmable), followed by 6 adjustable current outputs. Standard features included in the 9907-164:s are the ability to avoid valve limiter, automatic start sequence, and first-out indicator off that are critical needs.
