Magnetic induction principle: Used to measure the thickness of non-magnetic coating on steel, iron and other ferromagnetic metal substrates, such as paint layer, anti-corrosion coating, etc.

Eddy current principle: CM10 is used to measure the thickness of all non-conductive layers on non-ferromagnetic substrates such as copper, aluminum and stainless steel.

Resolution and error: The low limit resolution is usually between 0.1um and 10um.

The error will vary depending on the calibration method (one or two point calibration), usually between ±(2%H+2)um and ±((1 to 3)%H+10)um.

Display and statistics: Most models feature a high contrast segment code LCD screen (LED backlight).

Provides statistical functions such as the number of measurements, maximum value, minimum value, average value, and standard deviation.
