The AI801 is an analog input module
Number of channels and input type:
The AI801 has 8 channels and can receive 0... 20mA, 4... 20mA dc single-ended unipolar input.
Each channel can be a voltage or current input, and the voltage input can handle 0... 10V or 2... 10V DC single-ended single-pole input.
Resolution and protection:
The module has a 12-bit resolution.
The input shunt resistance is protected to 30V by PTC resistance, and the analog input is short-circuited to ZP or +24V.
The AI801 current input can withstand a short circuit of the transmitter power supply at a minimum of 30V DC without damage, and the voltage
input can withstand overvoltage or undervoltage at a minimum of 30V DC.

The input impedance ranges from 230 to 275 kω for current inputs (including PTC), and the input resistance for voltage inputs is 290k ohms.
The rated insulation voltage is 50V, while the dielectric test voltage is 500 volts AC.
